Welcome to LyricMV. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how LyricMV ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and safeguards your data when you use the LyricMV website (lyricmv.com) and the LyricMV for Suno Chrome Extension.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 LyricMV Web Application

When you use LyricMV, we may collect:

  1. Account Information

    • What We Collect: Name, email address, and authentication details when you sign up or sign in via Google OAuth.
    • Purpose: To manage your account, verify identity, and provide customer support.

  2. Content You Upload

    • What We Collect: Audio files (MP3, WAV, FLAC), lyrics text, and project configurations you create.
    • Purpose: Solely to provide the lyric video generation service. Your files are stored securely and are not shared with third parties.

  3. Usage Data

    • What We Collect: Pages visited, features used, video templates selected, and generation history.
    • Purpose: To improve LyricMV's features, optimize performance, and analyze service usage.

  4. Device & Technical Information

    • What We Collect: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and device type.
    • Purpose: To ensure cross-platform compatibility and maintain service security.

  5. Cookies & Session Data

    • What We Collect: Standard web cookies to maintain session states and preferences.
    • Purpose: To keep you signed in and personalize your experience.

  6. Payment & Billing Information

    • What We Collect: Secure transaction data processed through Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers.
    • Purpose: To process subscriptions and credit purchases.

1.2 LyricMV for Suno Chrome Extension

The LyricMV Chrome Extension is built with a privacy-first design:

  • No personal data is collected or transmitted to our servers from the Extension.
  • Song metadata (title, artist, lyrics) detected on suno.com is stored locally on your device only using chrome.storage.local. This data is never sent to LyricMV servers.
  • Media files (MP3 audio, cover images) are downloaded directly from Suno's CDN to your computer — they do not pass through LyricMV's servers.
  • When you click "Create Lyric Video", your song data is sent to lyricmv.com over HTTPS to pre-fill the video creation form. Only the data you explicitly choose to send is transmitted.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and continuously improve LyricMV's lyric video generation service
  • To process your video rendering requests
  • To manage your account and subscription
  • To send service-related emails (receipts, important updates)
  • To analyze usage patterns and optimize user experience

We do not sell your personal data to any third parties.

3. Chrome Extension Permissions

The LyricMV for Suno Chrome Extension requests the following browser permissions:

The Extension only accesses suno.com, lyricmv.com, cdn1.suno.ai, and cdn2.suno.ai. It does not access any other websites or user data.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Sharing only occurs under the following conditions:

  • Service Providers: With trusted partners who support our operations (e.g., Stripe for payments, Cloudflare R2 for file storage, OpenAI for audio transcription) under strict confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.

5. Data Retention

  • Chrome Extension: Song data is stored locally on your device and automatically overwritten when you visit a new Suno song. Uninstalling the Extension removes all locally stored data immediately.
  • Web App: Your account data and generated video projects are retained until you delete your account. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct: Update inaccurate information in your account settings.
  • Delete: Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
  • Opt Out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

LyricMV employs industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure database protocols, and access controls to protect your data. While we strive to maintain the highest security standards, no digital transmission is entirely risk-free.

LyricMV is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.

9. Advertising and Third-Party Ad Networks
